Dr. H James Schroll, VMD
Dr. Schroll has owned and operated Park Animal Hospital for thirty years. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and worked in a mixed animal and equine practice before starting exclusive small animal work. Dr. Schroll is Park Animal Hospital’s chief of surgery. Both soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery are part of his routine. Dr. Schroll is married to Dr. Sparacino.
Dr. Jane Sparacino, VMD
Dr. Sparacino has also owned and operated Park Animal Hospital for thirty years. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sparacino is head of internal medicine at Park Animal Hospital. She is also certified in the area of stem cell therapy. Dr. Sparacino is married to Dr. Schroll.
Dr. Holly Schroll-Aarseth, VMD
Dr. Holly Schroll-Aarseth has been at the hospital since 2007. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has worked with a number of interesting species during her schooling, including dolphins, fish, and alpacas. Dr. Schroll-Aarseth also graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and is Dr. Schroll and Dr. Sparacino’s daughter.
Dr. Steven Mercurio, DVM
We welcome Dr. Steven Mercurio to Park Animal Hospital. Dr. Mercurio is a graduate of Ross University. He performed his clinical studies at Purdue University. We are excited to have Dr. Mercurio join the Park Animal Hospital family!
Catherine Aguis, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Cathy is Park Animal Hospital’s licensed technician. Cathy has over twenty years of experience as a veterinary technician, with more than twelve of those being have at Park Animal Hospital. She is a surgical and medical technician and is especially skilled in the areas of radiography and dental hygiene. It is Cathy’s expert hand that is usually calming the pets for procedures and tests. Cathy also provides invaluable assistance with delicate surgeries.
Jen Branca, Veterinary Assistant
Jen is another veteran of Park Animal Hospital, having recently celebrated her ten year anniversary here. Jen assists with many procedures at the hospital. She also takes care of any pets who are staying at the hospital for the night. Her natural way with animals makes her an instant friend of most of our furry patients.
Mariam DiPalma
Mariam is the senior receptionist at Park Animal Hospital. Her cheerful voice greets our clients on the phone and in the waiting room. Mariam’s pet, a golden retriever named Lou, serves as the hospital’s mascot.
